With the increasing emission reduction measures, green energy power has become the main development direction in the future. At this time, hydrogen energy with unique and excellent characteristics is pushed into the spotlight. In December, 2019, at the Green Technology Forum of China Classification Society (CCS) held during the 20th China International Maritime Exhibition, the design scheme of China's first hydrogen fuel pilot ship independently designed and developed by * * * was officially released to the public, and it was granted the AiP certificate of China Classification Society. The release of the design scheme of China's first hydrogen fuel pilot ship will undoubtedly push forward the research and application of hydrogen fuel, which is a milestone.
Hydrogen energy on board
For new fuels, it is most important to ensure their safe application. Hydrogen has the characteristics of low ignition point, wide explosion range and large diffusion coefficient, and has been managed as a hazardous chemical for a long time. Therefore, it is an important guarantee for the sustainable development and application of hydrogen energy technology to make clear the danger of hydrogen and conduct basic research on the consequences and prevention of hydrogen safety accidents, so as to provide reliable basis for the formulation of relevant standards and regulations. All along, the government has attached great importance to hydrogen safety. In addition to the construction of standard system technical specifications, the practice of hydrogen energy application at home and abroad has also accumulated rich experience for hydrogen security.
The design scheme of China's first hydrogen fuel pilot ship launched during the 20th China International Maritime Exhibition is a 500kW inland hydrogen fuel cell powered cargo ship. This ship is the design scheme of the first inland river ship in China with hydrogen fuel cell as the main power source independently designed and developed by * * * and * * *. This ship is a 2100-ton inland self-unloading ship on a fixed-point route. It uses 4x135kW proton exchange membrane hydrogen fuel cell as the main power source of the ship, supplemented by 4x250kWh lithium battery pack for peak shaving compensation. At the same time, the ship carries a 35MPa high-pressure hydrogen bottle pack to store hydrogen fuel, and its endurance is about 140km. See the following figure for details.
